BYK-333 Leveling Agent is used in solvent-free, solvent-borne, and water-based coating systems and printing inks. This additive drastically reduces the surface tension of coating systems, particularly improving substrate wetting, preventing crater formation, while also enhancing surface slip and gloss. Compared to silicone oils, this additive is "user-safe," but its recoatability and cratering tendency should be evaluated before use.
BYK-333 Leveling Agent is universally applicable to all coating systems, greatly improving surface slip and substrate wetting. In water-based systems, it can enhance anti-blocking properties. BYK-333 has excellent compatibility and can be used as an anti-cratering additive.
During storage and transportation, if the temperature drops below 5°C, BYK-333 Additive may become cloudy and stratify. Before use, heat BYK-333 to 20°C and mix thoroughly.
